A bespoke Iceland Northern Lights itinerary

Eight nights circling the island under the aurora

8 nightsFrom ₹3,45,000 per personBest: February, March, September, October

The journey

A bespoke Iceland Northern Lights itinerary balances dark-sky evenings with the landscapes you want to see by day. For India-based travellers, our Ring Road journey is a starting point: the final route depends on your dates, available daylight and road conditions, with room to adapt rather than chase a rigid schedule.

The full Ring Road with a private guide-driver — glacier lagoons, ice caves inside Vatnajökull, the east fjords where almost nobody goes, and Deplar Farm on the Troll peninsula. Seven dark-sky nights with aurora wake-up calls, and a guide whose job each evening is to find the clear gap in the cloud.

In summer the same route runs under the midnight sun with highland super-jeep access.

Explore the Iceland destination guide, compare Northern Lights journeys, and review visa guidance before finalising your travel plans.

Aurora on four of seven nights because our guide kept relocating us. The ice cave was the most beautiful place I have stood in.
